Inspiraticalation

If that isn't a word I claim it. REALLY!

So here is a quick little something something.

I really just want other people to read it, so here is what some may just call it a link.

CLICK ON THE WORD "link"-it talks about what I am going to talk about.

I (being a responsible person, or at least I think) have a copy of the journal from that trip. I actually have the hard paper original but I typed up a copy so everyone could have one, so here are some snippets if you will. Enjoy.

"What do I take, what do I leave behind? A question we were all faced with. Weeks before we left or for some of us days, we scrambled around for odds and ends for the trip. I suspect the items we were looking for centered around our personal comfort. In the quest for comfort and convenience we gave ourselves more things to worry about as well as, a heavier pack, doesn’t make sense does it? So what’s important: it seemed that the question of what to leave behind became more important."

"At night we had some good time. People began to open up, but not as much as we can. We got only a glimpse of what God can do in our class. We heard apologies from some and some hurts from others."

"The wall is falling but Jericho has not been conquered just yet."

"My dearest John, On this the 3rd day of our illustrious foray into the woods, this morning was gorgeous. Stein Auf, from Pride Rock, woke the rest of the groups with a lovely rendition of “You Are My Sunshine”, followed by as many bright, loud songs as they could muster."

"You can’t see and they can’t really either you have to work together to solve problems."

"The challenge now is to exchange the climbing rope for the classroom and the wilderness for the walls of Portersville. We have to bring this back. I feel like we’re a body, straining every muscle, and working every tendon. We’re a baseball player who made it safe to third and just needs a burst of strength to bring it home. Then again, if only it were that simple. But I believe."

"In closing, Mr. Harbison told us to stay strong and said that it was a privilege to get close enough to smell each other. I agree completely with Jeff when he asked, “Okay, so same time next week?” I’d do it all again in a heartbeat."

I must be going now, I have a paper to finish.

I very rarely check out blogs these days, not because i'm not interested, i just usually don't have the time...When I read Mrs. K's entry, it was hard to believe I was a part of that class. It was good to read what we had written and remember to take some of that back into my life right now. I know PCS had its problems but I loved all my buddies :-) I think we need a whole class reunion!!! If anyone else from the class of 2002 reads this..know I miss yah and love yah! And Dan...if you're gettin tired and worn out, hang in there...the semester's almost over!
